eBay Mobile Purchase

According to research published by ebay in 2010, nearly one-third of purchases were made using a mobile phone.

Now in 2011, it is believed 91% of online shoppers use mobile phones to shop online. The only images downloaded for an eBay listing are its gallery pictures when accessing eBay from your mobile phone. It does not download images embedded in the description. Currently you are allowed upto 12 gallery images but at a charge. As we know better pictures better sales but for sellers it costs £0.31 per picture but only the first picture is free.

If eBay wants big sellers to make the listings Mobile Friendly, I think they should change their pricing and let sellers add gallery pictures free of charge. They can make their money on listing fees, FVF as well as paypal fee.

WWW turns 20 today

Can you imagine life without the www? Rewind the world 20 years and there was no world wide web. There was interent but no www.

On August 6 1991 (I was just 19 months old),  Tim Berners-Lee launched the first website with very basic HTML.

Enjoy the freedom of WWW guys!

Power of the Web

I was about to take my medicine and it said Take 2 X 5ml spoonfuls, I didnt have a clue how to make sure I only h ave have 5ml not more or less. I then Googled how much is 5 ml on a table spoon, I didnt think of of any teaspoon as they were all in the sink. After realising 5ml is the same as a teaspoon I had to wash one and have my  medicine. (I should’ve guessed 5ml would be 1 teaspoon from what it said on the bottle) but I had to make sure! lol. Well guys this shows we can check small things we;re unsure about on the internet!
